Thank you Jennifer and Neil Miller for your donation to the 'Welcome to Basin' signs. Renewing members this week are: Sherman and Becky Allred, Basin City Arts Center and Rural Connections. Thank you.

Have you stopped in to the library lately? Art galore is on display for the sixth annual Art from the Heart fundraiser. There are truly many artistic people in our region. Stop in today and make your bid.

Requests for relocation packages are coming in almost every week. The phone calls that come in still surprise me. People asking about businesses that they can't remember the name of but know they are in Basin because they saw it when they were driving through once (sometimes it was 10 plus years ago when they came through), people asking about the cemetery, asking if I know of their great-grandparents who lived in the area as children, etc. Then, of course, the normal ones asking who in the area carries certain products, offers services, places to rent, etc. Those I can handle IF the chamber knows through chamber membership. That is a hint.

Thank you to Kate Boreen from Ranch Soup (chamber member). She has been so helpful in her responses to Chamber Happenings. She knows a lot about our community. Through her responses I've learned more about her business, too. Did you know this about Ranch Soup? They have several times done "Cream Can Dinners" for 10 to 40 guests at Ranch Soup (for families and for large university functions). They've also found themselves doing s'mores and champagne around the picnic and fire pit area with their guests. A BIG hit. The guesthouse and long porch with huge steps and rocking chairs sits on a serene and picturesque pond with a great view of the Big Horns.

The latest addition is a 1920s huge floor radio, no static, beautiful cabinetry and lighted dials ... and you can tune it to get stations all over the world. The international guests love it.

Fair dates have been set. They are July 29-August 5. Chamber member news/happenings:
