Funeral services for Willie E. "Bill" Walleck, 82, of Need-ville, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, in the chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Visitation was from noon until service time at 2 p.m. with a rosary recited at 1:30 p.m. Interment followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.

Bill was born Dec. 26, 1930 in Stafford to Edward and Frances Zetka Walleck. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Needville. Bill passed away Dec. 25, 2013, at his residence in Needville, and became our special Christmas Angel.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Frances Walleck; brothers, Pete Walleck and Lawrence Walleck; and brother-in-law, Anton Orsak.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Mary Kure Walleck; son, Jimmy Walleck and wife, Kay, of East Bernard; daughter, Joyce Losack and husband, Greg, of East Bernard; and daughter, Margie Nesvadba and husband, Rick, of Guy; grandchildren, Jenise Moszkowicz and husband, Daniel, of Lissie; Tara Sliva and husband, Dustin, of Irvine, Calif; Tyler Walleck and wife, Royce, of Wallis; Garrett Losack of East Bernard; and Mason Nesvadba of Guy; great-grandchildren, Kale Moszkowicz of Lissie and Wade Walleck of Wallis; sister, Mary L. Bishop and husband, Lee, of Fairchilds; and sister, Evelyn Orsak and special friend, Calvin Band, of Rosenberg; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Walleck of Rosenberg; and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends, including his devoted pets, Sissy and Sugar.

Bill worked as a welder and retired from Cooper Oil Tool in Richmond, formerly W-K-M/Joy Manufacturing, in 1992. He enjoyed gardening, tinkering with his lawn mowers and spending time with his family and friends.

Pallbearers were Greg Losack, Rick Nesvadba, Daniel Moszkowicz, Dustin Sliva, Tyler Walleck, Garrett Losack and Mason Nesvadba.

Honorary pallbearers were Jenise Moszkowicz, Tara Sliva, Kay Walleck, Royce Walleck, Kale Moszkowicz and Wade Walleck.
