Two Exeter teens arrested in north Co. gang sweep

15-year-old, 19-year-old had ties to the Sureno gang in the Exeter area

Two teens with ties to gangs in the Exeter area were arrested earlier this month in Ivanhoe.

A 15 year old Sureno gang member, whose name was not released because he is a minor, was arrested on charges of possession of a concealed weapon. Feliciano Lopez, a 19-year-old Sureno gang member was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance.

The men were arrested between Dec. 20 and Dec. 22 by the Tulare County Sheriff's Gang Violence Suppression Unit while conducting a gang sweep in the Northern portion of Tulare County. A total of four arrests were made during the sweep in unrelated incidents.

Also arrested were Jose Garza, 42, of Dinuba and Miguel Flores, 37, of Fresno. Garaza was arrested in Dinuba on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm. Flores was arrested at a, hotel south of Kingsburg on charges of possession of a controlled substance.
