Mary Nell Mylar

Mary Nell Mylar, 87, of Vienna, passed away Dec. 30, 2011, at The Emeritus Nursing Facility in Marietta.

She was born Sept. 6, 1924, in Pleasants County, the daughter of the late Cameron C. and Jessie A. Brown Radcliff. She was a 1942 graduate of St. Marys High School and a graduate of Marshall University. She taught for many years at Neale School in Vienna until her retirement. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, the DAR and Retired Wood County Employees Association.

She is survived by two grandchildren, Christopher P. Hanlon and his wife, Amy, of Waverly and Lauren T Hanlon of Parkersburg; one great-granddaughter, Elli Hanlon; and two nephews, Mark Radcliff of St. Marys and Keith Radcliff of


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah A. Hanlon-Toth, and a brother, George Radcliff.

Funeral services were Monday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna, with Pastor Mike Towner officiating. Burial followed in St. Marys IOOF Cemetery.
