Kylan Feld awarded scholarship

Kylan Feld, son of Conan and Jodie Feld, is one of eight Idaho high school seniors and two Idaho college students receiving scholarships awarded from the Northwest Farm Credit Services (FCS). They awarded a total of 54 scholarships totaling $81,000 in Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington.

Feld has held many leadership positions including class president, vice president and student body president. He represented Idaho at a Junior National Young Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. and is a store manager at Ace Hardware. Feld enjoys golf, scuba diving, snowboarding, motorcycles, guitar and basketball. He is a member of the FFA and the National Honor Society. He plans to attend Westminster College and study business management.

Northwest Farm Credit Services gave 44 scholarships to sons and daughters of Northwest FCS customers and employees in Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington; eight high school students and three college students, from each state were awarded $1,500 scholarships. Four i employees' students received $1,500 scholarships. Human Resources also awarded two minority and four land grant university scholarships worth $1,500 apiece.
