SD Country Music Opry House and Museum

The South Dakota Country Music Opry House & Museum, located at 122 S. Main St., Lennox SD will hold their grand opening on April 12th, 2015. Festivities begin at 2 p.m. with a building dedication, a stage dedication will follow at 2:15 p.m. and a presentation to the Jon Richter family is scheduled for 3:45 p.m.

Honored guests South Dakota Country Music Opry House & Museum grand opening April 12 will be Elizabeth and Wilbur Foss, of Scotland. Music will be preformed by the Dakota Country Pickers throughout the day. The 2015 South Dakota Country Music Hall of Fame inductees will also be announced. A light lunch of hot dogs, chips, baked beans and a drink will be available.

The South Dakota Country Music Hall of Fame is a non-profit organization and all work is done on a voluntary basis. The organization relies primarily on donations for its support. The organization helps support music programs for elementary schools in the state of South Dakota.
