Oh the beauty of fall, it is a great, quiet time here in IP. The photo's sent to me this year have been outstanding and I love sharing them with you. I hope you are enjoying them.

This is my favorite time of year along with many of you. I finally get to do some fishing and hunting. I love to hunt and I am always on my quest for the monster buck A good twenty years now Maybe this year.

As you read today you will be a little more familiar with the community group that has been formed to write the legislation to maintain the caldera as a multi-use area.

This is a very important step to avoid a National Monument designation. This organization will hopefully avoid that step by the President and time is short as next year is the last for our current president. This group will also need some funding so look to the future to support this effort and keep our home the way it is. There will no doubt be many fundraisers to do this work. I will have information later as to where you can donate if interested.

As I reflect on the summer and all the folks I have met, this time of year makes for a great inspirational time The thankfulness I have bringing the news and events to you and that I actually get to live here and enjoy the outdoors so much. Thanks for supporting me and please support my advertisers and let them know you appreciate them as well for bringing this publication to you. As always, take the time to step outside, take a deep breath of the forest and relax.
