A 35-year-old Selbyville man was charged July 4 in connection with a terroristic threatening incident that cancelled a Freeman Stage show. Dzmitry N. Papou turned himself in to police after police issued a search for Papou and a second man. Both men entered the Americana Bayside Welcome Center at 31254 Americana Parkway at 2:55 p.m. July 3 and made alarming statements to an employee, said Master Cpl. Gary Fournier of the Delaware State Police. As a result, a scheduled Freeman Stage performance by Band Perry scheduled July 3 was cancelled. Papou was charged with terroristic threatening and released on $20,000 unsecured bond.
