The Rehoboth Beach Police Department arrested a Greenwood woman for stealing merchandise from two Rehoboth Avenue stores. Police said Tammy Irizarry, 46, stole items from Quiet Storm and The Shirt Factory July 7. Police say a search of Irizarry's car revealed stolen clothes and shoes. A review of Quiet Storm's surveillance video showed Irizarry was removing theft detection sensors from a pair of shoes before she stole them, police said. Irizarry was arrested at South Moon Under; another surveillance video from Quiet Storm showed her stealing items last August. Irizarry was charged with three counts of shoplifting under $1,500 and is being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on $1,500 secured bail.
