Burglary investigation arrests made

The Bingham County Sheriff/Blackfoot City Police combined detective division has been jointly working on burglaries that have been reported in Bingham County. As a result of the investigations, three individuals have been arrested and an arrest warrant has been issued for the fourth.

John Brooks, 19, and Jesse Huff, 18, have been charged with seven felony counts of burglary each. Bond was set on Friday for $100,000 each. Huff and Brooks are incarcerated in the Bingham County Jail.

Jody Cherry, 18, was arrested in Bonneville County for burglary. One juvenile was also arrested and is being held in the juvenile detention facility in Idaho Falls.

All four subjects are from the Blackfoot area.

At present, these individuals have been implicated in over 25 burglaries in southeast Idaho, including Bonneville County, Idaho Falls City, Bingham County, Blackfoot City, Bannock County and Pocatello. According to the Bingham County police department they burglarized churches, schools, and businesses up and down the valley.
