The Bingham County Sheriff's Office is again requesting the public's assistance in locating a missing and possibly endangered adult. Daniel Francis Machado, 29 years old, from Alabama, a student at Idaho State University, who is a six year veteran of the United States Air Force is still missing.

His silver, 2007 Ford Focus was recovered in Wolverine Canyon of Bingham County near 40 Horse Cave on Tuesday, Sept. 4, and had been there for over a week. Two searches of the canyon, one with the assistance of a helicopter, have turned up nothing.

In the course of the investigation, persons were located who saw the press release and had contact with Machado on Monday, Aug. 20, but had not called to advise us of the contact. The Bingham County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone (not spoken to by detectives yet) who has had contact of any kind, or knowledge of any kind, to call them at 208-785-1234 or 208-782-3067.
