Westland Dairy offers training for producers interested in selling at farmers markets
INDEPENDENCE - Local producers interested in selling at rural fanners markets are invited to attend an informational training session on Tuesday, May 12th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Western Dairyland Community Action Agency, 23122 Whitehall Road, Independence. Admission is free.
Class participants will learn how to be successful vendors at the farmers markets in Arcadia, Whitehall and Black River Falls.
Low-cost marketing ideas will also be discussed. If you've ever thought about selling your vegetables, fruit, syrup, honey or other artisanal items, this is the class for you.
There are three easy ways to register for the class: online at www.SuccessfulBusiness.org, by phone, or in person at the Western Dairyland office in Independence. Because space is limited, pre-registration is requested.
