Christian education series to begin July 20 at All Saints' Church
The Episcopal Parish of All Saints' Church and St. George's Chapel is hosting a four-part series titled One God, One Love from 6 to 8 p.m. on four consecutive Wednesdays, July 20 through Aug. 10. The series is free of charge and open to people of all faith backgrounds or none. A light supper will be served. The focus will be on broadening the community's interfaith and multicultural perspectives, and on the effects that spiritual practices have on well-being.
To introduce the series July 20, renowned brain researcher Dr. Angelo Bolea will present for discussion the topic Your Brain and Spirituality. Bolea is a neuropsychologist and neuro-rehabilitation specialist with an office in Annapolis. He has conducted many workshops for both professionals and the general public in applied brain function and the latest resolutions to brain-related conditions. His specialty is assessment and treatment with neurofeedback for the resolution of personal issues, attainment of personal goals and healthy brain functioning. No scientific training or knowledge of brain functioning is at all necessary to participate in the workshop. Bolea is masterful at making his extraordinary insights easily understood. The Wednesdays that follow will include various Delaware religious and community leaders appointed by Gov. Jack Markell to serve on the Interfaith Delaware Council of Faith-based Partnerships. All Saints' Church is at 18 Olive Ave. in Rehoboth Beach.
