The menu also features barbecued chicken, roasted garlic mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. Dogfish Head Brewery will provide craft beers and various wines from Teller Wines will be featured at the open wine and beer bars.

Two more auction items were also just announced for the live auction at the event. A low-digit Delaware license plate will be auctioned with the four-digit C-plate number C6380. C tags, or commercial tags, were originally created for company vehicles, but today they can be placed on any vehicle. Each course will be perfectly paired with a house made specialty cocktail or sustainably-sourced wine.

The Historic Lewes Farmers

Market Hoedown celebrates the community and the producer-only market that welcomed over 56,000 visitors last year. It is a chance to have a real farm-to-table feast with friends who support the weekly market, and then guests can kick up their heels to the live band Michael Shockley and No Spare Time.

Funds from the 2016 Hoedown will help the market operate so that their 35 local farmers and vendors can grow, support their families and continue to build the local food movement in Delmarva. Funds also help support the Bonus Bucks Program that provides matching funds for customers using the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (commonly known as food stamps). Tickets are $100.
