The American Falls Library invites you to join Dr. Janet Worthington as she presents an historical reenactment of Laura Ingalls Wilder, author and central character of the classic "Little House on the Prairie" book series. The presentation, which is free to the public, will be held in the community room of the American Falls Library on Thursday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m.

Dressed in period costume, Dr. Worthington will recount the Ingalls family's movement westward, the hardships the family faced and the joys of making a life in the wilderness. Dr. Worthington is known for the energy and historical accuracy she brings to her portrayals of strong female characters from literature and history. She is currently an adjunct professor at Boise State University.

This program is sponsored by the American Falls Friends of the Library and is funded in part by a grant from the Idaho Humanities Council, a nonprofit organization that serves as the state-based affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
