The American Legion Auxiliary has changed our meeting time to the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm. Our next meeting is April 14 at 7:00 pm at the American Legion Hall.

We are preparing to help the American Legion with the Easter Egg Hunt on April 4th.

We are still collecting receipts for Points for Profit. Please pick up your High Points paper at the American Legion, continue shopping participating businesses and drop your receipts off at the American Legion hall. Your help is appreciated.

This month is Foster Care month and we are collecting toiletries (full size), new pajamas from size infant to adult XXL for teens, and new pillows (standard size). These can be turned in at the American Legion Hall by Monday, March 23 by noon.

We are seeking to increase our membership. Dues are $30.00 a year which includes a magazine. Our purpose is to support the Veterans and their families and local children and their families. It's a worthy organization.

We also provide scholarships for Girls' State to those juniors from CLHS and Harrisburg HS who are interested. Girls' State is the premier program for teaching how government works while developing leadership skills & an appreciation for your rights as a citizen. As a participant in the program, you will run for office, learn public speaking, create and enforce laws and actively participate in all phases of creating and running a working government in this exciting and fun summer program. You'll develop confidence and leadership skills that will shape your future. Information and applications will be available on the website, http://www.alaoregon.org/girls-state.php
