Three candidate forums will be held In Adams County before the primary election.

The first forum will be at New Meadows High School on Thursday, April 19. A dessert and soft drink social will begin at 6:30 PM, and the forum will start at 7:00 PM. All candidates for contested county offices (sheriff, prosecuting attorney and assessor) have been invited to participate. The public is invited to submit questions for the candidates. All questions must be submitted in writing, and can be submitted at the forum (preferably before the forum starts) or via email to record@ctcweb.net or new_meadows@frontiei-net.net, or by mail to "Candidate Questions, c/o Record, PO Box F, Council, ID 83612." You may also leave questions at New Meadows City Hall or at the Recori office in Council. The next forum wil be on the evening of Thursday, April 26 at Council Elementary School. This one is for sheriff candidates only. The time and format is yet to be announced.

The last forum will be on the evening of Thursday, May 3 at Council Elementary School. This one is for all county and relevant state candidates (Dist 9). The time and format is yet to be announced.

The primary election will be held May 15.
