Michael E. Goodvoyce

Michael Edward Goodvoyce, 59, died in Laveen on June 15, 2015.

He was born in Ajo on November 27, 1955.

He attended school in Ajo for two, years before the family moved to Los Angeles, California. He also attended school in Montebello and in Bell Gardens, California, where he was graduated from Bell Gardens High School.

A year after graduation, he enlisted in the US Air Force and was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas and was at Vandenberg AFB in California when he was honorably discharged.

He married Pauline Armstrong in Farmington, New Mexico. They lived in Farmington, New Mexico before moving to Phoenix in 2011.

An electrician, he worked for Hyde Electric in Phoenix.

In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking, playing tennis, reading, and hiking.

Mr. Goodvoyce was preceded in death by his grandfather, Meterio Marquez, by his aunts Geraldine & Linda Marquez, and by his uncles Thomas Marquez, Alford Ben Marquez, Emetrio Marquez, and George Marquez.

He is survived by his mother, Delfina Cameron; by his son. Eric Goodvoyce; by his daughter, Ashley Goodvoyce; by his brothers, Reynold F. Howe, Jr. and Keith W. Howe; by his sisters, Janice Howe Paul and Karen A. Howe; by his grandson, Dominic A.; by his aunts, Lorraine Eiler, Nancy Marquez, and Sherry Serventi; by his uncle, William Marquez; and by many cousins and other family members.

Visitation will be at GRIC, Pee-Posh Service Center in Laveen with services conducted at the center by Chaplain Paul Carruthers from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m Burial with a honor guard' will be at 10:30 a.m. on July 3 in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Pallbearers will be Reynold Howe Jr., Wayne K. Howe, Matthew W. Paul, Joshua Paul, Craig Ami, Aric Marquez, Eric Goodvoyce, and friends.

Arrangements are being made by Marcus Funeral of Tucson.
