Michael Forrest Barron

Southeast Alaskas Island News of Thorne Bay, Alaska

Age 64

Loving father of 2, sband of one, Michael Forrest Barron was an adventurous, kind hearted, generous, & determined man full of the zest for life. He and his wife reside in Craig, & have spent recent winters in Cd'A, their former hometown, as a base tbe with family and travel the world.

Michael and Linda were married in 1968 then served the Peace Corps in Chile. Michael graduated from ColoradState University & the Gonzaga Law School. He worked in forest and law related management positions. They lived in Chile, Colorado, Oregon, IdahWashington and Alaska. Perusing his love of architecture, he designed & built his dream in Alaska.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Barron; Son, Troy Barron, Troy and Sherry's daughters: Lisa, Polly, Naomi, & Jane Barron, all of Alabama; daughter Sarah Barron of CdA, sister, Paula Bailey of Kansas, and many relatives and friends.

"We are confident, yes, well pleased rather tbe absent from the body & tbe present with the Lord" 2 Cor. 5:7.

There were Services held at Yates in Coeur d'Alene, Idahon Saturday January 15th.

Linda and the family thank all the well wishers whhave called, prayed, and cared for us.
