Bob Pratt was born in San Diego, the second of two boys, and was raised in the San Francisco Bay area. He is a graduate of Hayward High School class of 1965. He married Cathryn Lynn Beitsma on Aug. 31, 1968, and raised seven children.

In August 1988 Bob moved his family to Lovell. Bob was very active and excelled in many sports including basketball, softball and golf. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served in many capacities and loved working with youth. He was an active "scouter," loved the outdoors and, as a strong family man, took his family camping at least once a year.

He loved his family and, next to God, put them first in his life. He could always be found at sporting events either coaching or cheering on his children or grandchildren. He would also attend their many other events like school concerts or theater productions. Bob loved music and had a beautiful baritone voice that he shared with his family and community.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Muriel Carol Worsham and John Franklin Pratt Jr. He is survived by his brother James (Pat) Pratt, wife Cathryn Lynn Pratt, lifelong friend Dave Hallen, children Jason (Kim) Pratt, Casey (Angela) Pratt, Mara (Nash) Basmussen, Sarah Carol Pratt, Ella (Adrin) Mayes, Luke (Jade) Pratt and Barbara Mitchell and 28 grandchildren.
