Charles Lewis March ant of Bountiful, Utah, died Aug. 4, 2015.

He was born in Cowley to Leone Lewis and Charles Marchant on July 29, 1925. He was the oldest of five boys, and had four older sisters.

He joined the Navy at 17. He was a turret gunner on a torpedo bomber plane, serving in Europe and Japan.

After his discharge he married Renee Welling. They had three children — Donald (Carol), Diane (Pete) and Marilee (Gary). He had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren that he loved very much.

He drove truck for IML and retired after 28 years. He then took up fishing and was a famous fishing guide for Frontier Lodge in the Northwest for more than 40 years. He had friends all over the world calling to make reservations for him to be their guide. He retired from fishing at age 80.

He fought a good fight and made it to 90 years old, battling poor health. A special thanks to the Community Nursing Services for their years of tender care, and thanks to the kind nurses and doctors at Lakeview Hospital during his last week. He died peacefully surrounded by his family.
