Cleve Colson announces campaign for Bingham County Prosecutor

Cleve Colson has put his name on the ballot for Bingham County Prosecutor for the upcoming election.

Colson was born and raised in Blackfoot and attended Idaho State University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in History in 2002. After graduating from ISU, Colson attended the University of Idaho School of Law. He earned his Juris Doctorate in May of 2005.

After graduating law school, he and his wife Brooke returned to southeastern Idaho where he started his career at the Bannock County Prosecutor's Office. Colson continues to work for the Bannock County Prosecutor's Office as the Assistant Chief Deputy Prosecutor. In that capacity, he handles serious felony cases and the felony narcotics' caseload. Colson has extensive experience in all aspects of prosecution, trial work as well as administrative duties.

As a lifelong resident of Bingham County Colson said, "It is time for change in the Bingham County Prosecutor's Office and now is the time for a prosecutor that is dedicated to a fair, responsible and common sense approach to the pursuit of justice."

has provided so much to me and my family," he added.
