Girls raise funds for basketball camp
The Council Junior High girls basketball team is looking for work to raise money for a summer basketball camp that they hope to bring to Council.
Some high-level coaches from Oregon are willing to come to Council to run the camp, and are only asking for their expenses to be covered. This is a rare opportunity and a generous offer.
One of the girls' first jobs was from Mark Mahon, who graciously offered to pay the girls to clean some logging equipment. The girls will also be holding car washes to raise funds.
If anyone has work the girls can do, please contact Dylan Hart at 550-1348.
