With spring finally deciding to arrive, many homeowners are noticing that their properties are in need of some repairs. For some, addressing the repairs may put a financial strain on their household. The City of Bagley is excited to announce the availability of funds to assist homeowners with their repairs.

The Department of Employment and Economic Development recently awarded funds to the City of Bagley to rehabilitate up to 12 homes within a target area (the target area is shown in the above picture).

Funding is available to low income households who are current on their property taxes and are current on their mortgage(s).

The funds will be used to make necessary repairs to owner-occupied homes, such as roofs, windows, and mechanical systems. Funds can also be used for accessibility improvements.

Families of seniors are encouraged to assist their family member in completing the application packet.

For more information about the project, or to determine your eligibility and obtain an application packet, please contact the Headwaters Regional Development Commission at 218-333-6530.
