Woodinville Chamber tourism team launches Visit Woodinville website
The Woodinville Chamber Tourism Marketing Committee announced the launch of a new Visit Woodinville tourism website at www.visitwoodinville.org. The new site features seasonal content, photography, tourism business listings and a mobile-friendly design. This project also included development of anew tourism brand Visit Wocdinville logo, color palette, district icons and messaging, which are featured throughout the website and will be used in future tourism marketing and media activities. All Woodinville tourism-related businesses are invited to submit a listing here: www.visitwoodinville.org/forms.
After executing a detailed RFP process through which 10 proposals were received and evaluated, the Woodinville Tourism Website Sub-Committee interviewed a short list of bidders and selected a team of Chamber member partners to support this "website 2.0" initiative: Arscentia (brand positioning and assets); Four Ten Creative (website design and development); O'Boyle Copy & Concept (content development and copywriting); Woodinville Media Group (photography); and Wordsmith Diva & Wheelhouse Marketing (RFP author/coordination; project management).
"A dynamic online presence is a fundamental strategy in establishing the legitimacy of Woodinville as a travel destination," said Laurie Cook, Woodinville Tourism Marketing chair. "It offers individual visitors, groups and residents a central resource to learn about the lodging, activities and services available in our community. In addition to promoting Woodinville as a tourism destination to a broader, national audience, we're also sharing our story with local and regional residents. As these visitors discover that Woodinville offers an accessible, high-quality, inviting, 'hidden gem' experience, right in their own backyards, we believe they'll come back again and again to enjoy all that Woodinville has to offer."
"We are so incredibly excited about the refreshed site and all of its capabilities," echoed Kimberly Ellertson, Woodinville Chamber director of marketing "This project was delivered well below market rate through the generous contributions of our partner vendors, all of whom have a passion for Woodinville. A sincere 'thank you' goes out to the City of Woodinville for approving LTAC funding, which was a substantial amount of the total budget required."
Visit Woodinville is the tourism arm of the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce. The Tourism Marketing Committee operates under the Chamber umbrella and represents all major tourism-dependent organizations in Woodinville. Their mission is to execute programs that drive tourism to our community through compelling and consistent branding, messaging and marketing strategies, while supporting the City of Woodinville's mission, vision and values.
