Phillip Bourquin

Phillip Bourquin passed away suddenly on October 21, 2015. He is now in Heaven with his loved ones and friends that passed before him.

Phillip was born on July 26, 1975 to Stephanie and David Bourquin and came home from the hospital on the day of the big earthquake. Even though he grew up an only child, he had lots of cousins that were close to him.

As an adult, Phillip was a truck driver until he was in an accident and became disabled. Phillip loved football and baseball. He was an avid Cowboys and Giants fan. He also liked going to the gun range, fishing and camping. He loved to barbecue and cook.

Whenever there was a get-together, Phillip did the grilling. Phillip was vice president of the Biggs Lions Club. He loved giving back to the community.

Phillip was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Mary and Jesse Bourquin, maternal grandmother Betty Swisher and stepfather Jerry Cobb.

Phillip is survived by his mother Stephanie Cobb; father and stepmother David and Belinda Bourquin; sisters Tina Jamison, Belinda Lynae Anders and Rynae Giboney and brother Tim Cobb.

He also leave behind an uncle, aunts and many cousins and friends. Phillip also leaves behind his fiance Stephanie McClintock.

There will be a memorial service at the Gridley-Biggs Cemetery on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 2 p.m.
