The Southern Campbell County Agricultural Complex was a busy place Saturday October 31st, starting at 4 p.m. with the dedication of HARRY'S WAY in memory of Harry Underwood. Harry's Way is the entrance to the Ag Complex. Mayor Ralph Kingan spoke for a few minutes about Harry and his dedication to the Town of Wright and Campbell County. His son Roy Underwood spoke for a few minutes telling of his dad's love and dedication to the Town of Wright and its people. There was hardly a dry eye in the crowd. Harry Underwood is greatly missed, not only for his amazing personality, but also for his caring and works in and behind the scenes getting things done for the Town of Wright and Campbell County.

He was instrumental in the town having a library, rec center, and golf course. If you wanted to start something to benefit our town, and asked around you were told to get a chold of Harry. SKV and R&B Tire are a few of the businesses that can vouch for that. Many of the town's past and present officials became involved at Harry's urging. If he thought you had something to offer that would benefit the community, he urged you in a way that only Harry could do. Harry served as County Commissioner two different terms; one of those terms was over 10 years. He also, worked for the Town of Wright, and was a lobbyist in Cheyenne for the State of Wyoming for a few years. A comment was made "I want a road named after me." Well, put in the lifetime work and dedication that Harry did for the town and county!
