I don t know about anybody else, but I am sick and tired of seeing that commercial for Hillary that shows her at some kind of crowd gathering and this little girl asks her a question. I call her little, but she looks like she might be about 10 years old. At any rate, she is asking Hillary if she will get the same pay as a President that a man would. That may be a spontaneous question, but I am suspicious.

My suspicions were first aroused when I took a good look at the commercial and watched the girl. She doesn't seem to be looking directly at Hillary, but off to the left like she is reading a cue card and she makes some hesitations as she is asking it like she has to read part of it and then stop for a second or two and then go on reading some more. I agree with Hillary in her statement about getting equal pay for women who do equal work, out, under these circumstances, I just can't buy its honesty.

Now, let's get on with the Constitution. Today we'll finish Article III starting with the rest of Section 2. In all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, and those in which a State shall be Party, the supreme Court shall have original Jurisdiction. In all the other Cases before mentioned, the supreme Court shall have appellate Jurisdiction, both as to Law and Fact, with such Exceptions, and under such Regulations as the Congress shall make. The Trial of all Crimes, except in Cases of Impeachment, shall be by Jury and such Trial shall be held in the State where the said Crimes shall have been committed; but when not committed within any State, the Trial shall be at such Place or Places as the Congress may by Law have directed. Section 3. Treason against the United Sates shall consist only of levying War against them or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court. The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attained. That's the end of Article III.

Let's get some humor in this now. These come from the July/August 2015 Reader's Digest. They are Facebook comebacks. In the first one the person's message is: "I couldn't possibly be happier right now. For the first time in my life, a girl told me that she loves me." The comeback is: "Aren't mom's great?" Now for the second one. It is: "Maybe it's not always about trying to fix something broken. Maybe it's about starting to create something better." The comeback is: "And that's why you have a younger brother." Now for the Thought For The Week. It comes from Dean Rusk. It is: "One of the best ways to persuade others is with your ears-by listening to them."
