Susan Mae Powell, 58, of 171 Joshua St., Mon-tandon, passed away early Sunday morning, Jan. 26, 2014, in the Milton Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Sept. 9, 1955, in Plattsburgh, N.Y., the daughter of the late Basil N and Marion M. (Farber) Farber. She married Andy Powell in 1985, and her death breaks a marital union of 28 years.

Susan enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and crocheting.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Tanya and Amanda, both of New York state; five grandchildren; three brothers, Dennis, Paul and Richard; her best friend, Florence M. Elmore and her husband, Don, of Montandon; and friends, Barbara Moyer, of Montandon, and Marion Hauck, of New Berlin.

She was preceded in death bv two brothers. Billv and Bobby.

Friends and relatives will be received from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the John H. Shaw III Funeral Home, Market and Eighth streets, Lewisburg, followed by the funeral at 12:30 with the Rev. John H. Shaw III officiating.

Entombment will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.

The family will provide flowers and asks that donations in Susan's memory be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Willliamsport, PA 17701.
