KINGFIELD — Join Kingfield Friday Artwalk this Friday, Nov. 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. as it celebrates the area's artistry. This event is free and open to the public. Venues also provide free refreshments.

Stop by the Schoolhouse Gallery to see a variety of colorful photographs by John Orcutt and Cam Held featuring this year's autumn foliage. The art of dance, food and drink will be celebrated at the Farm Cottage Gallery.

The High Peaks Artisan Guild will welcome new member Patty Thomas as the artist of the month. Thomas will be exhibiting paintings of Sugarloaf and the surrounding area. She and her daughter make homemade soaps, salves and massage oils that will be available under the Melissa Aromatherapy trade name. Join the guild in welcoming Thomas.

Though Rolling Fatties is closed for renovations during November, interactive ping pong will be at The Joint. All are welcome and plenty of paddles are available for those who want to join in.

All participants fly red flags to indicate participation in Kingfield's Artwalk. For more information, contact Cynthia Orcutt at 939-6518 or email corcutt86@gmail.com.
