Allison DuBois to exhibit at Library

NEW PORTLAND — Beginning Nov. 8, a new art exhibit will grace the walls of the New Portland Community Library featuring the drawings, paintings and photographs of Allison Dubois.

The public is invited to meet her and peruse the talented work of this budding artist. The opening artist reception will take place Sunday, Nov. 8 from 3 to 5 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

DuBois graduated from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire with an Art Education degree, with a minor in Art History. She is employed at the Stratton School. She lives in Salem.

The show will run through the end of January. The library is open from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesdays and Saturdays and also Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 4 to 6 p.m. The library is located at 899 River Road in New Portland.
