Tommy Knockers, formerly the Club Bar, will be opening in early 2016, it's owners say.

Ericka Kuser, who has also opened Substations, Inc. in Philipsburg, said Tommy Knockers would be participating with other downtown businesses on Yule night with an open house, giving locals a peek into the renovation work that has been done, ahead of the official opening.

"With the upcoming busy holiday season and recently hired chef and his family moving here from Idaho and the sous chef moving here from Texas, we at Tommy Knockers decided it best to open in early January," Kuser stated.

"This will give everyone time to settle into their new homes and new positions."

Incoming Tommy Knockers chef Jordan Boutry, got his food and wine degree from the Art Institute of Colorado in 2003. Boutry helped open the Ranch at Rock Creek and was the executive chef at the Mint Bar and Cafe in Bozeman for four years, before taking the executive chef position at Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch in 2012.

His wife, Stephanie — daughter of Steve and Anita Immenschuh — is a Philipsburg native and a graduate of Granite High School.
