Ruth E. Savage, 96, of Gibbon Glade, PA, died Thursday, November 27, 2014, at her home.

The daughter of the late Avery J. and Martha Jane Maust Seese, she was born August, 23, 1918, in Gibbon Glade.

She was a member of the Canaan Church of the Brethren.

She is survived by three daughters: Bonnie Fox and companion, Lowell Workman, Phyllis (Dee) Haines and husband, Charles, and Gail Dennis and husband, Bill, of Gibbon Glade; four grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester F. Savage, and two sisters, June Seese and Mildred Dailey.

Family and friends were received at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, Saturday, November 29 and Sunday, November 30 and Monday, December 1, 2014, from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Canaan Church of the Brethren, Gibbon Glade, with Pastor Greg Moran officiating. Interment followed in the Bethel Memorial Park Cemetery, Farming-ton, PA.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Canaan Church Schoolhouse Fund or to the Canaan Church in care of Phyllis Haines, 440 Five Forks Road, Gibbon Glade, PA 15440.
