Robert Charles Younse

A memorial service for Mr. Robert Charles Younse, age 53 of Choudrant, was held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church near Choudrant, LA. Reverend Larry Emory officiated the service.

Mr. Younse was born December 28, 1961 in Bernice, LA to Charles Earl Younse and Sandra Colvin Younse. He died October 27, 2015 in Choudrant.

Mr. Younse enjoyed deer hunting, coin collecting, fishing, cooking for his family on the grill and rebuilding old tractors. He also loved spending time with his grandsons. Robert never met a stranger, he was always smiling and he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Mr. Younse had many friends from all over the country from his truck driving career over 32 years.

He was preceded in death by his brother: Roy Lane Younse; and his father: Dooley Younse.

Mr. Younse is survived by his wife: Lisa Younse of Choudrant; two sons: Nathan Younse and wife Whitney of Simsboro, Matthew Younse of Choudrant; two daughters: Kimberly Lites of Charlotte, N.C. and Brigett and husband Chris Adkins of Choudrant; five grandchildren: Gunner Younse and Leyton Younse of Simsboro, Hayden Adkins, Caleb Adkins, and Grant Adkins, all of Choudrant; his mother: Sandra Younse of Choudrant; a brother: Billy Younse and wife Sharon of Choudrant; two sisters: Felecia and husband Freddie Kovlosky of Monroe, and Benji and husband Jeff Lee of Alma, GA. visitation was held Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Choudrant under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.
