Janice Louise Swink, 72, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, in Stillwater, Okla.

She was born Sept. 8, 1943, in Cold water, to Glenn and Tressie (Lipe) Atteberry. She and her family moved to Protection, where she attended school and graduated from Protection High School.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Lois Wise and Bonnie Tucker.

Her survivors include: her husband Richard Swink, PhD. of Edmond, Okla.; one daughter, Tanda Cross and husband Tony of Perry, Okla.; two stepchildren, Valeri Gatlin and husband, Richard of Lubbock, Tex., and Rick Swink and wife Cindy of Edmond; two sisters, Glenice Thompson of Cold water and Deborah Atteberry Flowers and husband Melvin of Dodge City; one brother-in-law, Dennis Tucker of Hutchinson; five grandchildren, James Russell and wife Tiffany, Jonathan Russell and wife Samantha, Jessica Golds berry and husband Rex, Leah Cross, and Kara Cross; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, at the First Christian Church in Cold water.
