VIRGINA LUCINDA BONAVENTURA, 97 of

Follansbee, WV died peacefully on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Brightwood Center. She was born on March 16, 1918 in Follansbee, WV a daughter of the late Giacoma and Fiorina (Falbo) Falbo. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, William Bonaventura, one daughter Margaret Ann Bonaventura, one brother Michael Falbo, six sisters, Ang Poggi, Mary Jones, Viola Cionni, Rose Sprocki, Alma Johnson, and Lena Young. Virginia was a Beautician and worked the election poll's for Brooke County for many years. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. She was an avid baker and had a love for crocheting and quilting. Virginia had a special place in her heart for helping raise her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by two sons, Francis Bonaventura and Terry (Sheila) Bonaventura both of Follansbee, WV; four grandchildren, Kelli (Dean) Miller, Matthew Bonaventura, Jeff (Devany) Bonaventura, and Scott Bonaventura and companion Ashley Skinner; and two great grandchildren, Cameron Miller and Bailee Bonaventura Visitation was held on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Mullenbach Funeral Home, 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV. A vigil service was held on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the funeral home. Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 30, 2015 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church at 1017 Jefferson St. Follansbee, WV with the Rev. Msgr. Paul Hudock as celebrant. Interment followed in Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee, WV. _
