No the editor has not lost her mind. Over the last month Pinson council members have grappled in meetings with what to call the up-coming session held when there are 5 Thursdays in a month. The last meeting was referred to as a "Work Session" and public turnout was low. Some people complained that because it was referred to as a work session they didn't really understand it's meaning there fore did not attend. So for the up coming session members discussed referencing it as a Town Hall meeting which gives alludes to a friendlier meeting.

Not all member agreed with the term "Town Hall Meeting". Councilman John Churchwell said, after all Pinson is not a town it's a city. Regardless of the terminology used to describe this meeting, it is one that's very informal, there is no 3 minute limit on discussion or suggestions from the public, council members will share future ideas for the city as well as plans already in the making.

In the last "work session" although attendance was low but members and visitors discussed and presented several ideas and improvements for the city that included a park, a library, and was to beautify areas around city hall.

The upcomming session will be held at city hall July 30, at 6:30.
