Oracle, Arizona — On Wednesday, Nov. 4, enjoy live music, homemade food and a heated courtyard at Sue & Jerry's Trading Post, as talented persons of all sorts gather in benefit of the Oracle Dark Skies Committee and in sorrowfully sweet celebration of the season's last farmers market-The live music is from a band known to be unplugged, unruly, but, apparently, still generous, the Oracle Ridge Band. A quick search on Facebook revealed that the band is looking forward to backing a succession of talented singers from Tucson, Catalina and Oracle and planning to give most of their tips to the worthy cause of preserving Arizona's natural resources. The live food, so to speak, comes courtesy of Julie & Quentin's organic gardens, It all starts at 5 p.m. at Sue & Jerry's Trading Post, 1015 E. American Ave. in Oracle and ends at 8 p.m. Dress warmly, but, don't forget your dancing shoes. There is no cover charge. Actual performance of the mambo is optional.
