Unofficial election results posted by Election Superintendent, Ms. Vicky Weaver, show that 76% of Woodland's voting populace voted in favor of Sunday alcohol sales in the November 3rd election.

The City of Talbotton took a similar action in 2014 and Talbot County approved Sunday Alcohol sales in a Special Election held in March, 2015, giving retailers located in unincorporated parts of the County the ability to sell alcohol on Sunday.

This action will allow Woodland retailers the opportunity to recover business they were losing to stores in surrounding towns because they couldn't sell beer on Sunday.
