Hannah Elian Case
Hannah Elian Case, age 86, died on November 17, 2009 at St. Peters Hospital in Olympia, Washington.
She was born on December 15, 1922 to Hixon and Hattie Malone in Porter, Washington.
She moved to Aberdeen, Wash-in-ton when she was 11 years old, where she was raised by John and Sofia Pajula. She graduated from Aberdeen Weatherwax High School and Business College in 1942.
She married & raised four children.
In 1967, she married John Case who worked as a logging superintendent for Ketchikan Pulp Company. The couple lived at Davidson Logging Co. at Whale Pass as well as at other logging camps in Southeast Alaska. They also lived in Ketchikan for many years. The couple retired to McCleary, Washington.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Case.
Hannah is survived by her children - Chris Vessey of McCleary; Ear-lene Thibeau of Rapid City, South Dakota; Dorothy Broten and Carl Vessey, both of Ocosta, Washington; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Glenn Malone of Woodburn, Oregon; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held on November 24th in Tenino, Washington.
