Helen Louise Dotson, 101, of Washington, WV, passed away Oct. 27, 2015 at the Arbors of Pomeroy, OH.

She was born in Elkins, a daughter of the late Wirt and Oda McBee Isner. She worked several years for Miles Manufacturing & Yonkers. She was a member of the Lubeck Church of Christ. She loved going to church and would never miss a service. She enjoyed gardening and loved her flowers.

She is survived by her daughters, Merleen Ray of Charleston, Marleen Seese of Elkview and Margie Leggett (Elwood) of Shelby, OH; daughter-in-law Ruth Dotson of Lakeland, FL; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her foster parents, Daniel E. and Laura Doak Dotson; husband, Hobart E. Dotson; son Elex "Orman" Dotson; and brothers, John and Gordan Isner.

She will have burial at the Buck Run Cemetery, Pennsboro. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Parkersburg, PO Box 392, Parkersburg, WV 26102, or the Lubeck Church of Christ. Leavitt Funeral Home is handling the arrangments.
