Law enforcement agencies continue a man hunt for a person considered armed and dangerous.

Christopher Blake Scruggs, 23, is accused of almost beating a man to death on Oct. 14 in Logan County. He is also a person of interest in the murder of 18-year-old Caylee Massey in the early morning hours of Wednesday, Oct. 28 just east of Canton in Blaine County.

Scruggs has a lengthy criminal history and has served time in prison for burglary and animal cruelty.

Law enforcement have arrested Scrugg's girlfriend, Sunshine Davis, in connection to the Logan County assault. The 19-year-old faces assault and battery charges. In an affidavit, Logan County deputies say she laughed as Scruggs and his brother Cody brutally beat a man with a firearm.

Cody turned himself in the next day. Deputies found Davis hiding in a home near where the assault took place. Scruggs is the only person left to be found.

On Oct. 28, a witness told investigators Caylee Massey was shot and killed by a hitchhiker believed to be Scruggs.

Oklahoma Bureau of Investigators say Scruggs is a threat to the public. Officers warn to not approach him, but call 911 immediately. If anyone knows where he might be contact OSBI at 1-800-522-8017.
