The Spearman High School Band makes history! For the first time in many years there are over 100 band members playing in the stands and marching on the field every Friday night at the football game. A record 103 to be exact! These students have made the school and community proud with their hard work and dedication. Members come early for sectional practice and stay late on Tuesday nights to ensure their steps and music are perfect. The band is present at the football games to play the school fight song after every touchdown and play the school song before and after the game. The band brings excitement to the stands with their tunes and their support of the team.

The 103 member band competed Saturday, October 17th at the UIL Marching Contest at Dick Bivins in Amarillo. They received a 2 rating at the contest. Hats off to the band, Mr. Victory, and Mr. Herrera! They have done a tremendous job this year and we are thankful to them for all they do for our school and community if you see a band member, be sure and tell them, "Great Job" and "We are Proud of You!"
