Exeter FFA is having its annual Canned Food Scavenger Hunt at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8. Exeter FFA members will gather at the Exeter High School Agriculture Department to team up, load up and head out around town to collect as many food items as they can in one hour. The city of Exeter will be divided up into 10 different sections, with each team competing against each other for the coveted can trophy.

The Exeter FFA is also participating in K-JUG 106.7's Canned Food Drive Contest Challenge. This activity was designed by the chapter FFA Members to stop hunger in our community. Our students and many community leaders are very excited about our collections from the past four years. FFA is again asking the community of Exeter to gather cans in preparation for tomorrow's drive. All food collected will go to FoodLink of Tulare County and Exeter Food Closet to help our community.

The Exeter FFA members greatly appreciate any non-perishable food items that you may have ready on Dec. 8 when they come to your neighborhood. If they happen to miss your house on the scavenger hunt, residents may drop off any donations at the Exeter High School Agriculture Department or call 592-2449 and they will come and pick them up.
