Morrow accepted to Harvard University

Lee Morrow, a 2011 graduate of Midway High School in Waco, has been accepted to Harvard University, were he will begin his studies in September.

Morrow is a National Merit Scholar, Quest-bridge Scholar, UIL Scholar, AP Scholar, Chairman of the Woodway City Youth Commission, and Editor-in-Chief of his high school newspaper.

He is currently employed by Space Exploration Technologies, Inc., also known as SpaceX.

Morrow is the grandson of Jerry and Betty Church-well Erwin (Grand Saline High School C1ass of 1956) and the great-grandson of the late Lottie and Frank Churchwell, Sr.

Frank was the long time Grand Saline Justice of the Peace, City Judge, Morton Salt employee and President of the local United Mine Workers Union.

Morrow is the grand-nephew of long time Grand Saline residents Myers and Glenda Jennings and Frank Churchwell, Jr.
