HARDESTY, Okla. - William Burl "Clay" Clayton Jr., 65, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009.

Services weree at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2009 in First Baptist Church in Hardesty with the Rev. Larry Parker officiating. Burial with military honors were in Hartville Cemetery, southeast of Hardesty, by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.

Mr. Clayton was born Dec. 2, 1944, in Idabel to William Burl and Iona Juanita Stinnett Clayton Sr. He married Deidra Kay Stine on April 4, 1996, in Liberty, TX.

Survivors include his wife; his mother of Norman; four sons, William B. Clayton III and Floyd Gabriel Clayton, both of Idaho Falls, ID, Lee Allen Bishop of Liberty and James Ray Clayton #f Hardesty; four daughters, Michelle Rash of Camef6hl'MO, Charisa Ready of Cypress, CA, Bobbie Esters of Urania, KA, and Teresa Vancil of Bath, IL; 21 grandchildren; a great-grandson; a brother, Charles Clayton of Norman; and two sisters, Karen Clark of Arlington, TX, and Sharon Osborn of Hardesty.
