Brian Lee Summers, 45, of Bruceton Mills (Clifton Mills community), died Monday, November 24, 2014, at his home.

The son of Sylvia J. Fike Summers of Bruceton Mills, and the late Donald Summers, he was born April 13, 1969, in Morgan-town.

He is survived by his wife, Debra K. Funk Summers; one daughter, Serena Summers: one son, Waylon Summers; stepchildren: Jamie Thomas and her husband, Brian, and Kimberly Cairney of Fairmont; one brother, Bradley Summers and his wife, Deb; one sister, Sharon Hall and her companion, Mike Watkins; a brother-in-law, David and Cindy; mother of his children, Paula McCarty; and six grandchildren.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Allen Summers.

Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, Friday, November 28 and Saturday, November 29, 2014, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service in the funeral home, with Rev. Vicki D. Sheppard officiating. Burial followed in the Shady Grove Cemetery.
