Desert fishing offered to kids by PCNRPR

Pima County Natural Resources Parks & Recreation will be taking a group of kids, ages 8 through 14, on a fishing trip to Silverbell Lake in Tucson on Saturday, February 21. The group will leave the Community Center at 7 a.m. and return by 4 p.m.

Sponsored by Arizona Game & Fish, the event is free Fishing poles and bait will be provided. Space is limited to thirteen passengers. The first kids to bring in signed permission slips will be registered for the trip. Permission slips can. be picked up at the Ajo "Community Center.

Participants are asked to bring a refillable water bottle, snacks for the day, and a sack lunch for a picnic in the park. Comfortable clothes and tennis shoes are suggested.
