Travelers driving the narrow twists and turns of U.S. Highway 12 this past weekend between Kooskia and Lolo Pass were probably amazed to meet a truck hauling a 185,000 pound, 95-foot-long, 22-foot-wide, 17-foot-high pipe.
The Selway Corporation is taking the pipe from Stevensville, Montana to Snoqualmie Falls, Wash. The monster pipe will divide water into two channels for a hydro project at Snoqualmie Falls.
