Lots of congrats to toss around to our kids

Cambridge High School Principal Notes

Once again congratulations go out to our varsity volleyball team for winning the district championship and for their berth into the state tournament. The Titans are scheduled to play Lapwai on Thursday afternoon. Further matches are dependent upon whether we win or lose.

Congratulations also go out to our FFA chapter for placing in the top ten in the nation in the National Chapter competition. Also, congratulations to Mark Macedo. Mark placed in the top three in the nation with his outdoor recreation project.

Our band has also been finding success at recent competitions. In Ontario, our students placed second behind Emmett. In Boise, we took the 1A/2A division beating Marsing in five out of six categories. The band will wrap up its marching season this Friday at the football game against Idaho City.

Once again, we hope you can make it out to the football game on Friday. This is our last home game. Congratulations to our seniors for a fine career. Action is scheduled to begin at 5:30.

With the fall sports wrapping up, winter sports are just around the corner. If your son or daughter is interested in playing high school basketball, coaches have placed signup sheets in both schools. As a reminder, before being allowed to participate, students must have appropriate paperwork submitted. If this is the first sport of the year for your child, please direct them to obtain appropriate paperwork from his or her high school office.

In looking ahead, our fall sports banquet has been scheduled for Tuesday, November 10 in the Cambridge Elementary School multi-purpose room. This will be a pot-luck dinner.
